Green Thingy's

Another Foliage inspired photograph, this on was also slightly underexposed and then manipulated in photoshop, adding vignettes and adjusting the curves. Ive also added a 100% crop of a section of the image to show how sharp my new lens is.

Underexposed

Taken at 1/2000 of a second at F4 this photograph is somewhat underexposed this however has made for an interesting picture.

Boat

This boat is something that I have photographed in the past, this has been taken using my new lens, which is far sharper than any lens I have previously owned. Taken at f11 it wasnt much shaper than at f4.

Old Boats and Sunsets

This Photograph of a boat that has only recently broken up was taken at ISO 100, F11 for 1/6 of a second at 23mm. I used a four stop Grad ND filter to bring the sky to a similar level of exposure as the foreground however this is still stlightly underexposed, using lightroom I have tried to alter this underexposure however the middle of the frame is still somewhat dark.

Another Abandoned boat along the river Medway this time taken at ISO 100, F14 for 1/5 of a second at 19mm, using the same Grad filter as the previous photo I have just touched this up on lightroom making the foreground lighter.

My end of degree exhibition

Here's is my work from my final exhibition, The curation for the final changed only slightly from my original plan, the main change was to move the photos closer together, this gave the piece a more filled out and complete look, the addition of an A0 photograph was also decided upon and this extra work, worked well in the space it
was put in.
I was worried that the two pieces of work that sat next to each other would not work well because of there similarities, but the way the space was utilised meant that this didnt become an issue.

The Saw at the Saw Mill

This is one of the abandoned saws at the old saw mill, this has been photoshoped somewhat, however this contrast and saturation works well.

This is another possible idea that I'm looking into for the final show, it uses and old piece of rusted metal with acetate, transparencies set into it, this is a mock up on photoshop

Two more photographs for possible final piece ideas, again using acetate however this time without the use of objects.

Leybourne Grange

It's Late afternoon and the sun shines through small holes in paper covering the window, the dust trickles through the streams of light and lands on the broken floor.
much of the house is in such a way, peaceful, discarded and decaying. In such places can be found humanities legacy.

Grain Tower Fort

A couple of photos From grain Tower battery Fort, constructed in the 1850's and later upgraded to accommodate bigger guns, the fort is now unused and for sale.

Perspective

These photographs have been put together because the lines within them and the shapes made are rather interesting.

Monuments 2

This is the final piece for the monuments work, in the previous piece I used two images that showed the decay of our civilisation, in this piece however i'm using a monument from the past in conjunction with what our civilisation might leave behind.

so once again....

As our Civilisation progresses it seems increasingly obvious that it will at some stage collapse, like many before us we may fall into the realms of myth and be spoken of only through stories. Like many others however we have the chance to leave our footprint behind a monument to all that we have accomplished good and bad. what legacy will we leave behind
