Whitstable
A couple of photos from an evening trip to Whitstable at the weekend, weather wasn't looking that great on Sunday evening but it turned out to be rather nice. The first photo has just had some contrast added and I reduced the exposure abit making the sky darker. the second photo has been converted to black and white and the curves changed giving it more contrast.
Sunset was around 7:40 and getting there and about 7:20 we had just enough time to take a few shots and watch the sun go down.

New Shoes?
Visiting Lower Halstow the other week I found this old shoe and finally got around to photographing it yesterday, using my new tripod I was able to place the camera directly over the shoe creating this perspective, in lightroom I added a sepia tone to the image some sharpening and changed the curves making the photo more contrasty, I fairly pleased with this image.

Tomatoes
This took a few shots to get right I started off with a low f number and worked my way up to f9 finding that this gave enough sharpness on the for most tomato but also allowing for some nice bokeh towards the back of the photo.

Hive beach
In this image was taken at iso 100 f22 at 42mm for 15 seconds, my main goal here was to create a silvery effect on the water and the minimal composition of the photo was aimed at creating an abstract image of the landscape, there is however slightly to much going on the the picture for this to be achieved as I wished.
