Kettle
This Photograph has been taken as an initial idea for my current unit at uni.
The word landscape relates originaly to the way which painters would create a 'landscape' this image was often an idiolised view of the land, at the time these scences may well have been normal, vast patches of land touched only slightly by the hand of man. In this modern age however mans influence in the land has become more obvious and destructive, becuase of this 'landscape' has changed in my photographs i will block out or mask the human attempting to create that more idiolised view of the land. this photograph doesnt do justice to my ideas however through development I will be able to create something that does this.

Pots
Lower Halstow in kent is a small village with evidence of occupation since the iron age, its name has developed from Halig Stow meaning holy place. The shoreline here is one such place in my local area that conveys the ideas of nature and humanity that interest me.
on the beach can be found waste from the victorian age pots, bricks and other disgarded objects, there is something both very human and very natural about this landscape. the photograph above comprises of pots found in this area.
